A walking-film of absurd pursuits, inner journeys and unexpected encounters: the Crebinsky travel without knowing where they are going and end up finding out where they come from. This is the story of two brothers, the Crebinsky, who were born from the love between Vladimir Crebinsky, a shipwrecked Russian , and María Cribeiro, a local woman who found Vladimir when she was doing her daily scan of the coast, and decided to share the rest of her life with him. After some years of love and having fathered Feodor and Mijail, the main characters of this story, a beautiful summer evening Vladimir and María die squashed by a tree. Feodor and Mijail were left alone in the world. Shortly after, torrential rains cause the river level to rise sharply, flooding the village where they live. Everything is swept away by the current, including Feodor, Mijail and their cow. Miraculously they wash up somewhere on the coast. They grow up there, at the foot of a lighthouse, and live happily for some years, surviving by picking up the things brought by the sea, the crebas. Until they set off an existentialist journey that will lead them back towards their origin, with their Cow as a guide.
